The Indian Metrological department has predicted a good monsoon for this year and monsoon showers have already been experienced in Kerela & Mumbai.
Almost the whole of India is effected by rain during this period.
During the Monsoon (rainy) Season, most of the ports are heavily congested & the process of customs clearance proceeds much more slowly than normal.
These delays can cause additional costs for container rent and demurrage. Our partners work to ensure these are avoided on Abels Moving Services and our customers behalf.
Movements of trucks in and out of ports will be badly affected because of traffic jams owing to the heavy rain.
