Abels Moving Services have been advised by shipping lines of the opening of the new Hamad Port in Qatar.
Qatar’s new container port called Hamad Port will become fully operational effective from 1st December 2016. This replaces the existing Doha Port. As such all shipping lines calling to Qatar will shift from Doha Port to Hamad Port.
The new port is a welcome move as the Hamad Port is well equipped with cutting edge port facilities with adequate yard space, allowing for smoother cargo flow and faster operations.
