For customers planning on moving to China, Abels Moving Services have been provided with updated information from our Agents to remind everyone of the approach of the traditional Chinese New Year.
The traditional Chinese New Year (Year of the Horse) will be held between January 29th – February 6th, 2014. Many of our Agents in China will not be back to work until February 7th, 2014. No shipping or removal services will be performed during this holiday period.
Abels Moving Services will not be sending any shipments to arrive in China during the mentioned holiday period in order to avoid any demurrage or storage charges for our customers. Thank you for your kind understanding.
Sea shipments arriving in China before Jan 15th, 2014 and air shipments arriving in China before Jan 22nd, 2014 can be customs cleared and delivered before this long break, provided that all the sufficient documents are ready in hand before arrival of the shipments.
