For customers planning on moving to California, Abels Moving Services have been provided with updated information from our agents in connection with a strike by members of the Port of Oakland Truckers Association.
It has been reported that the Port of Oakland Truckers Association (POTA) members have voted unanimously to stop work on Wednesday, 27th November 2013. The work stoppage by the drivers will effect imports and exports.
While this is a one-day strike, please expect further delays due to the Thanksgiving holiday and backlog.
Additional strikes are likely to follow in the months ahead.
