Abels has been awarded a prestigious FIDI award that is recognised worldwide and means customers can be confident they are in the safest possible hands.
Any company applying for accreditation for the International Federation of International Movers award is audited on every aspect of its business from its financial status to customer service, feedback and claims. Abels came through with flying colours and even raised the bar to attain FAIM ISO. Abels is now the only company in East Anglia, and one of only thirteen in the country, to be given the honour.
Philip Pertoldi, group Managing Director of Abels was part of the team that had to sit an industry based exam on the day. “It is a splendid achievement for the company. We now have an exceptional international recognition and will benefit from keeping right up to date with the world regulations,” he said.
“Our international clients will see this as a clear demonstration of our commitment to quality. Once again it shows our tradition to being first class when it comes to innovation and change,” he added.
Abels was one of the first moving companies to secure the ISO 9001 quality accreditation and the very first to achieve Investors in People, both are still held by the company today.
