The 44th Haddenham Steam Rally and Heavy Horse Show this year took place on Saturday the 9th and Sunday the 10th of September 2017.
This annual event took place on the land of Agreserves & Mr & Mrs Waller of College Farm, in Haddenham. Abels was delighted to be invited to the event where we were able to display our Bedford MLD removal vehicle along with the Abels Pantechnicon.
As can be seen the Abels Pantechnicon rather than just being a static display had the opportunity to be worked by a team of 3 heavy horses. The horses used to pull the Abels Pantechnicon came from the Isle of Sheppey and are normally used for pulling a brewers horse drawn dray.
Abels were able to display all three generations of removal vehicle with the Pantechnicon, the 1941 Bedford MLD and our modern tractor unit all in Abels Colours.
