Abels Attends 140th Sandringham Flower Show
The Abels team were thrilled to join the celebrations for the 140th Sandringham Flower Show, on the 26th July alongside our guests, we were greeted by a variety of partners attending the event from the real estate, interior design sectors, and royal household associates.
Due to our long-standing history with the Sandringham Association of Royal Warrant Holders, we graciously accepted their invitation to attend. Representing the importance of being a Royal Warrant Holder, Kavan McCullagh (Director of Sales), Nicola Emerson (Senior Relocation Coordinator) & Rebecca Clark (Partnership Development Manager) were honoured to attend the spectacular event.
The experience began with an assortment of refreshments upon arrival, meeting and greeting guests and friends. The highlight of the day was the Royal visit from His Majesty the King & Her Majesty Queen Camilla. There followed a delicious luncheon for over 250 guests. The event drew to a close at 4pm but not before enjoying an incredible afternoon tea. The view from the marquee displayed the true beauty of the gardens, prominently exhibiting the wonderful creations by leading designers.
Cascaded around the gardens were several exhibitions by the region’s leading nurseries and horticultural specialists. Over 200 trade stands were present with flamboyant floral displays, and an intricate craft marquee. Throughout the day, there was a plethora of activities and impressive acts within the arena and bandstand to entertain the guests. This included an orchestrated tour around the Sandringham grounds, as well as a trip to the renowned St Mary Magdalene Church. The annual cricket match between Sandringham Estate and the Sandringham Association of Royal Warrant Holders was keenly contested and supported as always.
After a very successful auction, SRWHA President Lee Dawson extended a huge thank you for the generosity in donating prizes, for a substantial auction and raffle draw which generated an amazing £7,545 for the ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.
